Flocknote
Here at St Mark the Evangelist, we want to communicate more effectively with you. But we also want to make it easy for you to control what type of announcements you get from us and how you are notified when we make them. In order to do this we are using a new, simple service called Flocknote.
This is free for you to use and makes it easy for you to stay plugged into the ministries or groups that you care about, all by text message or email updates. Your information will be completely safe and secure. You can unsubscribe from any updates at any time.
Upon registration, Flocknote will send you back a confirmation message and another message asking you to click a link to complete the process. As a part of this process, it will ask you what groups or ministries you’d like to get updates from. You can choose things like Bible Study, Men’s Group, Rosary Makers, etc.
Aside from regular group and ministry updates, we’ll also use this to send you important updates like special Masses, parish updates, etc.
This is a great opportunity for you to get plugged in to the many wonderful things we have going on here. If you’re having trouble, please contact us. We’d be happy to help!

We are thrilled to announce that our parish now has access to premium video content from Word on Fire. These films and videos feature Bishop Robert Barron and Word on Fire’s team of dynamic presenters.
Bishop Barron has been hailed as “one of the Church’s greatest messengers” and is the second most-followed Catholic in the world on social media (behind only Pope Francis.) He is best known for his CATHOLICISM film series and his Emmy-nominated Pivotal Players series, which have both aired on PBS and EWTN, and have been seen by millions of people.
What does that mean for me?
- You now have access to the entire Word on Fire digital video library! You can watch any of Word on Fire’s films or study programs whenever you want, on any device. Learn more below.
- Our parish can now send you short Word on Fire videos or video series with engaging questions via email or text message. We encourage you to participate in our parish discussions as together we draw deeper into the Faith.

You can also watch on your smart TV and mobile devices through the Word on Fire app by following these instructions:
- Step 1 – Press the “PLAY” button on any Word on Fire video found in our emails. (This activates this email address to give you video access)
- Step 2 – Download the app to your Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Smartphone or Tablet (Just search ‘Word on Fire Digital’)
- Step 3 – Log in with your email address and begin watching award-winning content seen by millions!
