Annual Parish Festival & Chicken Dinner – August 30
St. Mark the Evangelist (St. Michael Worship Site) Annual Festival
An Annual Festival & Chicken Dinner will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30, from 12 – 3 p.m., at the St. Michael Worship Site of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, located at 17150 – 88th Ave, in Coopersville.
There will be a BBQ chicken dinner with all the trimmings. The cost for adults is $15, a senior citizen is $12, children 6-12 yrs. are $10, and 5 and under are free. Take-out dinners are available, as well as an indoor and an outdoor picnic area.
The festival includes a country store, raffles, grocery wheel, Kiddie Train, and many children’s games. New this year— a Variety Show! If you would like to share your talents, singing, playing a musical instrument, dancing, storytelling, etc. during the festival, please contact the parish office.
The big raffle tickets, $5.00 each, offer a grand prize of $1,500. Second place receives $500; third place, $250; and fourth and fifth places receives $100.
